This book is written through the eyes of a brave fifteen year old boy named Christopher who remembers all of the prime numbers, does not like to be touched and does not feel others but himself. This book is different in many ways such as, the chapters in the book uses prime numbers to number the different chapters rather than successive numbers. This story starts with Christopher discovering a dead dog lying in his neighbour's front yard and wanting to solve this mystery. However, as Christopher tries to solve this mystery, he finds out the truth about his mother. This small incident leads to a big adventure. Christopher is a special character that thinks differently and feels differently. This book shows us the world of Christopher and it creates such a character that we can so easily be connected with and feels for.

It is a variety of autism called Asperger's Syndrome: people with this are often very bright, but they perceive the world in strange ways, are very obsessive-compulsive, and find it difficult to function socially.
